Solicitor Information
Individuals going door-to-door to sell goods or services must first obtain a Solicitor Permit from the Borough Clerk, which they must produce on request.
Door-to-door soliciting is permitted during daylight hours only, beginning at 9:00 a.m., Monday through Saturday. It is prohibited on Sundays and on all state and federal holidays. It is also prohibited to solicit on premises where a ‘No Soliciting’ sign is displayed.
Below is a list of current Solicitor Permit holders. No other Solicitors are currently licensed by the Borough. Please call the Borough Clerk at 732-632-8508 with any questions. Please call the Police at 732-632-8500 to report unauthorized solicitors.
