Metuchen Community Paint-Out

Location:  Tommy’s Pond, Lake Avenue, Metuchen

The Metuchen Arts Council invites the community to come out and paint or draw in the tradition of landscape painting in in one of Metuchen’s most beautiful and historic public spaces.

This experience of painting and sketching in the open air is open to all ages.  Participants should bring their own materials (paints, crayons, pastels, pencils, easels, sketch pads, etc.).  Local artist Ed Wetzel will be on hand with historic and landscape details about Tommy’s Pond and demonstrate some outdoor painting techniques.
