Metuchen teens and their families are invited to An Author Visit with Robert Kaplow on Wednesday evening, August 13th at 7:30 at the Metuchen Public Library, 480 Middlesex Avenue.

Come hear Mr. Kaplow read from his novel Me and Orson Welles, a humorous coming-of-age adventure that’s currently being made into a film starring Zac Ephron and Claire Danes. You’ll have an opportunity to purchase the paperback and have it autographed by the author especially for you!

Robert Kaplow is a teacher and writer who for over fifteen years has written satirical songs and sketches for National Public Radio’s Morning Edition.  Among his other young adult novels are Alessandra in Love and Alex Icicles.

 Me and Orson Welles is listed as one of the Outstanding Books for the College Bound by the American Library Association. The author visit is sponsored by The Friends of the Metuchen Library.
